Membership Eligibility Requirements

• A candidate for CMS membership shall submit a completed application accompanied by the required fees.

Active Members

• Active members shall be technologists certified by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certified in mammography.
• Membership fee is $20.00 per year.
• Technologists that are Colorado Society of Radiologic Technologists (CSRT) members, will receive a reduced membership fee of $15.00 per year. *Verification of current CSRT membership must be submitted with application.

Commercial Members (Individual and/or Group Memberships)

• Those persons who are employed in the technical or commercial aspects of medical imaging modalities and do not qualify for active membership.
• Membership fee: 
• $15.00 Individual per year
• $45.00 Group per year

Supporting Members

• Those persons who are not registered technologists.
• Membership fee is $30.00 per year.

Resignation

• Any member shall have the privilege of resigning by means of written communication with any current officer.

Educational Opportunities with CMS

The Colorado Mammography Society holds educational conferences or seminars every year.  Conferences are held in different areas of the state to accommodate all of our memberships’ needs.

In the year 2007, our fall seminar will be held in Glenwood Springs. CLICK HERE for more information.

Complete information about these conferences is sent to our members first in the newsletter.  After our membership has a chance to review and register for the conferences, the information and registration form will be posted here.

For each conference, we have presentations from speakers that may be local or nationally known personalities.  We have even had a few that were quite humorous!  Each conference is generally approved for 5 CE points specific to mammography (as each conference is evaluated individually for CE points, we do not guarantee the number of points or that they will suffice for MQSA requirements).
