Senator Allard and the CARE bill

Your senator in Congress, Senator Wayne Allard, has not yet signed on to cosponsor the CARE bill in the 110th Congress (S. 1042).  To move this bill ahead in the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee we need your senator who is a member of this committee to sign on as a cosponsor to S. 1042. Please call his office at (202) 224-5941 or fax him a note at

(202) 224-6471 asking that he cosponsor the CARE bill (S. 1042) and how important it is for America's patients to receive medical imaging and radiation therapy from educated and credentialed personnel.

Dear Marilyn and Joyce,

Thank you for the tremendous gift of $10,000 the Colorado Society of Radiologic Technologists donated to the ASRT Education and Research Foundation in honor of my retirement. Please extend to the board and membership my fondness of the Colorado Society.  The friendships and memories I have made and over the years of attending your annual meeting are very precious to me.

I am deeply saddened that I am unable to attend the meeting this year, but my thoughts are with you. I know it will be an outstanding educational meeting! God willing, I hope to be able to attend next year.
